Yazidi Leaders Overcoming Death of Chief Prince with Diplomatic Support

Quotable: “The Yazidi people can already be reassured of the strength and stability of their future… Crown Prince Naif, in all humility, without making any claims for himself, already arranged for everything that his people needed. This will finally give the Yazidi people a voice, and a seat at the table, to speak for themselves in international affairs.” – Prince Judge Matthew of Thebes, Chief Inspector General, Ignita Veritas United (IVU) inter-governmental (IGO)

Press Release: Yazidi tribal leaders are unifying, over the death of their long-time Chief Prince, and the unification with new leadership now positions the Yazidis to launch plans, many years in preparation, to assert their sovereignty as an indigenous people in diplomatic relations, under new leadership.

The previous Chief Prince of the Yazidi people (since 1944) passed away by natural causes on 28 January 2019. By ancient Yazidi law, a successor “must have both parents from one of the six Yazidi Royal Houses” (Yazidi Rule of Succession ca. 1120 AD). His son has a mother who is not from any Royal House, and is thus disqualified by Yazidi law, and the family of the past Chief Prince has no other heirs qualified as candidates for succession.

The Yazidi indigenous people of ancient Iraq are recognized as striving to survive their 74th Genocide, described as “One of the world’s most endangered religious minorities” by the Oxford Encyclopedia of Religion (2018). The Yazidi people thus cannot afford any disruptions of unity, requiring a smooth succession of a new Chief Prince, during this critical period of their geopolitical fight for survival.

The inter-governmental international law firm, Magna Carta Bar Chambers (MCBC), issued a Barristers Opinion on Yazidi Royal Succession, with recommendations to Yazidi leaders, to use unification and succession to ensure full legalization of Yazidi sovereign statehood in diplomatic relations:

The law firm report advises that Prince Naif bin Dawud bin Sulaiman is the only candidate fully qualified for succession under Yazidi law, enabling completion of many years of expert work on full legal restoration of the Yazidi Kingdom of Ezidkhan. It “pledges our continued support” for “all other Yazidi Princes and community leaders”, “to help establish many official diplomatic roles for them to share in the powers and authorities of the Yazidi Kingdom.”

The inter-governmental organization (IGO) Ignita Veritas United (IVU) issued a Diplomatic Recognition of the Yazidi nation represented by Prince Naif, on behalf of its Member States including an International Royal Alliance of Kingdoms, backed by an IGO Court of Justice and IGO refugee agency supported by a university:

The statement confirms official recognition of Prince Naif since 2016 as “Crown Prince (Royal Successor) of the Yazidi people, and also as Crown Regent and thus Acting Head of State of the restored Kingdom of Ezidkhan as the Yazidi sovereign nation state”, on the basis of his being “the leader of the historic Restoration of Ezidkhan, leading our group of affiliated IGO institutions in its legal restoration to full diplomatic status”.

The IGO letter declares that it “serves as a shared Ministry of Foreign Affairs… providing full legal and diplomatic support and infrastructure for… Member States such as Ezidkhan… giving a geopolitical platform for worldwide impact.”

More than a two-thirds majority of all Yazidi tribal leaders and political leaders, throughout the Yazidi ancestral territories of Northern Iraq, have already given statements nominating and supporting Crown Prince Naif for Royal Succession.

The Chief Inspector General of the IGO group, Prince Judge Matthew of Thebes, summarized the movement by this statement:

“This Yazidi unification, based upon the Restoration led by Crown Prince Naif, is the best possible move for Yazidi survival. The Yazidi people can already be reassured of the strength and stability of their future, now driven by the power and authority of Ezidkhan Kingdom as their ancestral heritage. It was immediately clear to our Diplomatic Corps, that Crown Prince Naif, in all humility, without making any claims for himself, already arranged for everything that his people needed. This will finally give the Yazidi people a voice, and a seat at the table, to speak for themselves in international affairs.”

Crown Prince Naif reportedly commented to supporting Diplomats: “I am honored and humbled by this unexpected show of overwhelming support, calling me to a higher level of sacred service representing my beloved people. I only wanted to do the best for the Yazidi nation to have a voice in diplomatic relations. But I accept this call to service by the Yazidi tribal leaders supported by the inter-governmental agencies.”
